New Medicare ABN mandatory use delayed to January 1, 2021

The revised Medicare ABN mandatory use has now been delayed to January 1, 2021. It was originally slated for March 2020 but was initially delayed to August 31, 2020, but due to continuing COVID-19 concerns, CMS has expanded the deadline for use of the renewed ABN.

You may begin using the new form now and is available in multiple versions in the Chiropractic Digital Coding document library or by request from Network members from Sam.

Note there is a formatting difference of the ABN depending on your status whether Par or Non-Par.
