Medicare Fee Schedule Update

Medicare Fees were slightly adjusted from the published rates from 2019. HJ Ross Network members please request your updated fees. Note the fee changes were minor some regions had no change with other slight increases or slight reductions. Deductible did not update and remains $198.

Note the “par” rate is for participating providers who must accept assignment with Medicare paying 80% and 20% due by the patient

The limiting charge is for “non-participating” who do not accept an assignment and the patient pays directly. The patient will receive 80% of the “non-par” rate from Medicare.

The “non-par” rate is used when a “non-par” provider accepts assignment and Medicare pays 80% of that rate with 20% due by the patient.
