Medicare 2019

Medicare deductible for 2019 has been published and will go up to $185. The 2018 deductible was $183.

Medicare fees are available and in most instances had a slight increase for spinal CMT.

Note for all physical medicine codes to Medicare you must also code them with a GP modifier. Meaning now you must have GY and GP with all PT codes along with any other modifier that may be necessary such as 59. Note the order of the modifiers does no matter.

ABN forms are required when CMT is deemed maintenance and note that there are slight variations depending on if you are registered as par or nonpar. The ABN forms are located in the document library.
